This playful, process-based art class invites preschoolers to learn through exploration, creativity, and joy while building confidence in their ideas and abilities, guided by Lisa’s Reggio-informed background and belief in children as capable learners. Children will explore a variety of art mediums such as paint, clay, mixed media, and construction materials, with plenty of opportunities for movement, sensory play, and creative expression. Each session is designed to help children feel seen, celebrated, and supported in a welcoming, artful environment.
Little Art Explorers: A Playful Process Art Series for Preschoolers is taught by Lisa Hernandez, a Lynnwood native with over 10 years of experience working with young children. Lisa was mentored in a reflective, Reggio inspired preschool program that fueled her passion for intentional early learning spaces. She believes all children are capable and competent and she enjoys creating environments that make them feel seen, known and celebrated. Lisa loves nature, moving her body and being creative and playful! Most of all, she hopes you find a great sense of joy and belonging in this space!
